11:56am | Dinner will be out with a bunch of the guys at the Roadhouse Grill, a place where you throw the peanut shells on the floor while waiting for |

3:36pm | For appetizers we had Texas Egg Rolls – Cream cheese & chopped jalapeno cocooned in wonton skins, served with jalapeno dipping sauce |

3:38pm | Then I had the Original Roadhouse Grill Bourbon Tri-Tip (10 oz) – hearty steak marinated in bourbon glaze & slow roasted overnight – tender |

3:39pm | served with a huge baked sweet potato with butter & brown sugar, coleslaw, fresh baked rolls with honey butter. |

3:40pm | Didn’t get through the steak, but it was very tasty & tender |

4:25pm | Still very weird re-visiting places I’ve known so well. Don’t think I can quite get my arms around how I feel about all of that. |

4:25pm | So many beautiful scenes. So many places I have loved. |

4:27pm | Snow is expected over theweekend, coming down to valley floor levels, which of course would be pretty, but make traveling interesting. |
