November 30th:

Yesterday
	6:25pm	I’ve uploaded a few photos taken yesterday. The flights went well. Was impressed with the Swiss Air service. Even the security people in
	6:27pm	Zurich were friendly. It was good to be met at LHR by Jeff, the driver, to take me to Eastbourne. I was so glad he was driving!
	6:28pm	It took about 1.5 hours, maybe less. It was dark the whole way – would love to see the view in daylight. Freeways most of the way, but
	6:29pm	getting closer to Eastbourne there were more winding roads, with little villages & picturesque pubs. It will be interesting to go for a walk
	6:30pm	and explore around Eastbourne today. First brekky downstairs. It’s starting to get lighter outside & I hear seagulls.
	6:40pm	I can hear seagulls, so the birds think that the day is beginning, so I’ll head downstairs for brekky, then go exploring Eastbourne

	3:08am	Whoever thinks that travel is glamorous has rocks in their head.
	3:09am	It’s better when you get to choose where and when you go, but travel for work, with no say in those things is no fun.
	3:10am	I certainly would never choose to travel to the northern hemisphere in the middle of winter. Everywhere so far has been grey & gloomy.
	3:24am	I’d love to have a warm, sunny day.
	3:55am	Eastbourne does seem to live up to its reputation as God’s waiting room – a place for retirees. In the materials at reception downstairs are
	3:57am	adverts for “retiring with style” & for hiring mobility scooters – have never seen so many of these in the one day as I’ve seen today!
	4:52am	Just had a grilled chicken caesar salad delivered to my room. This IS one of the advantages in travel
