Hi Andrea – Sorry you had to come back to earth! I saw your Mum yesterday at the 50th anniversary of Wahroonga Church. I was pleased to see her looking so well.

Hi Jenny!
Yes, Mum was delighted to have spoken with you. It sounds like it was a successful day, a good one for catching up with lots of people.
And yes, this is a bit of an anticlimax after beautiful Paris. My quick updates above didn’t come through properly. I got in about 8pm, and couldn’t order anything at any of the restaurants, or even snack food at the bar because they were busy with functions. All I could manage to buy was a bag of crisps, and I was too tired to go exploring the town, and chances are I mightn’t have found anywhere. The bar and the restaurant was full of oldies wearing those silly Christmas paper crowns, having a merry old time. In the bar they were playing bingo, with the banter sounding like it was from a Butlins holiday camp.
Hope you’re enjoying your new toys
Andrea
